About Alexander Neumeister
Dr. Alexander Neumeister is a psychiatrist and neuroscientist specializing in the study of the brain and psychiatric illnesses. Alexander has extensive experience in translational science, pre-clinical disease models, and corresponding human studies. Following in the footsteps of his mentor, Dr. Roland Kuhn, Dr. Neumeister has pushed the field forward for the last 20 years by re-designing studies to meet the complex needs of the human brain advancing our understanding of human behavior. Alexander's approach balances strict scientific standards with state of the art methods, so the result is a conservatively creative solution that can also be translated into an immediate benefit for patients.

Outside of the lab, Alexander is a devoted father to his three children, Anne-Sophie, Nicolas and Timothy.
