    Dr. Alexander Neumeister has focused his philanthropic efforts on working with underserved and at-risk individuals, both at home and abroad. Below are a select few of these organizations close to his heart:

    St. Ann's Soup Kitchen

    St. Ann’s Soup Kitchen is a non-profit organization that provides a food pantry and clothing closet to community residents in need. Dr. Neumeister has become closely involved with the organization, donating time and services, in addition to volunteering in the pantry multiple times a week.

    The Catholic University of Bukavu (UCB)

    Dr. Neumeister works with The Catholic University of Bukavu (UCB) in The Democratic Republic Of Congo to describe not only the psychological impact of the traumas of the ongoing civil war but also provide some relief to the general population.

    Fr. Georg Sporschill SJ

    Dr. Neumeister has known Father Georg for more than 20 years. He founded the Caritas Youth House in Vienna and three further houses for homeless people. In 1991, his Order sent Fr. Georg Sporschill SJ on a mission to the street children of Bucharest. Envisioned as a six-month assignment, this was to become his life’s work. Together with Ruth Zenkert, he founded CONCORDIA Social Projects and retrieved thousands of children from the streets and sewers of the Romanian capital.

    Best Buddies International

    Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
